Coinroll Wafers
Coinroll wafers are silicon wafers that are packaged similarly to coins in a roll. They are typically shipped in styrofoam packages ranging in quantity from 50 to 200 pieces. The wafers are often polished, are not cleanroom clean, and may have light scratches and other small defects.
Typical applications for coinroll wafers include: machine testing, utilization as substrate carriers for other devices, and as starting material to be polished for higher-end applications such as reclaim or test wafers.
